FSC/PEFC Certification Its been over 12 months since we were awarded the certification schemes. Even though the construction industry has had a hard 12 months the schemes have helped us maintain a strong market edge. All products produced achieve code 6 for sustainable homes and we are currently working on 2012 compliances.

FSC/PEFC Certification awarded As part of our environmental policy we are committed to the responsible use of Timber. On this note we have decided to prove to the customer our dedication by implementing the Chain of Custody Schemes(through BM Trada) of FSC and PEFC. We are Yorkshires ONLY Joinery Manufacturer certified to supply both FSC and PEFC products across our full range. Prestigous Contract Awarded We have just been awarded a prestigious contract, to supply grand Oak Staircases for a 7.5million pound refurbishment of a 6 storey town house in the Kings Road area of London. We are also in final negotiations to supply another Oak Staircase, this time in the affluent Paddington area of London. We were selected to supply these exclusive projects due to the high quality and craftmanship of our work.

Code for Sustainable Homes - 'Lifetime Homes' New legislation has been drafted up by the government, originally introduced as a voluntary measure in April 2007, it is to become a mandatory requirement from May 2008. This information will then be available to buyers for all new homes. To adhere to this new code, we are working in conjunction with other companies to ensure that all goods supplied to the new home building sector are fully compliant.

Masterwood Open Day With production of our high quality staircases flowing at a very rapid pace, due to our Masterwood machining centres, Masterwood approached us. They asked if we would be willing to show other potential customers of theirs what can be achieved with their modern machining centres and in-house software. The open day was arranged for the 23rd of February and with over 20 selected companies from all over the UK attending, it was a roaring success.
